Plum Organics Super Puffs Greens, 1.5-Ounce

Plum Organics Baby Super Puffs Purples, Blueberry & Purple Sweet Potato, 1.5-Ounce ContainersSearching for a low-sugar wheat-free puff to offer my baby girls, I discovered Plum Organics with much joy. Clearly superior to all other major brands of baby puffs for digestive health, who's better than Plum for my family? I've successfully battled to contain a serious digestive disorder called Ulcerative Colitis for over a decade in part by special attention to diet. In that time I've learned even moderate amounts of wheat causes problems by creating an overgrowth of Candida yeast in my system. Some know this as a sensitivity to gluten or sugars, others suffer without realizing as so many foods contain wheat or high amounts of sugar. For me it's cumulative folks, a little in nearly everything really piles up. I notice my body getting too much as soon as I begin to heavily crave breads or sugars. Before you know it, that gummy gluten renders me 90% incapable of absorbing nutrition altogether.

Back to the Puffs... wheat is high in gluten, but the oat and rice based Puff offered by Plum Organics stands out with ingredients more gentle on digestive function. This is in addition to providing all the stuff HappyBaby remains conscious of, like sugar and vitamin content. Rice is gluten-free and minimally processed oat may be too, but many still leave it off the list of gluten-free foods due to typical cross-contamination issues with lots of wheat growing and processed alongside oats. Small amounts are ok with me anyway -I'm looking for regulation rather than elimination here. So I'm happy to introduce all these foods to my daughters at healthy levels.

How about the sugar content? Super low, and only natural organic fruit, vegetable or cane juice is used (not corn-syrup as another reviewer erroneously reported -). And can we really get upset about a little blueberry or sweet potato juice temporarily staining a cloth when you account for their health properties? Regulate, read the labels for yourself and take joy in offering your kids a simple, low sugar, high vitamin, low gluten snack.

Oh and must say, I love that they're mainly just puffed air with a fantastic balance of nutrients. 1/2 cup or about 75 pieces per serving keeps my little dears engaged in motor development and feeding skills for a while without concern for dietary imbalance.

Bunch of facts, all packed up to help someone out there enjoy a little extra peace next time they offer Plum Puffs to their kids. Live well!

My son loves these little multicolored stars. So far, we've tried to spinach and apple as well as the mango and sweet potato. He loves them both! They are the perfect size for his little hands and one of the first foods he started to feed himself at around 8 months.

ORGANIC. I chose these puffs because I wanted an alternative to cheerios and other genetically modified cereals. I love that these are organic and feature flavors that are both wholesome and tasty. I've tried them myself and they are yummy!

NO ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS. This is a must have for foods I feed my baby.

BPA FREE PACKAGING. I love that these come in BPA free and recyclable packaging.

CONVENIENT. These are perfect for on the go. We bring this with us where ever we go and its the perfect little snack for my son.

The only thing I can say thats negative about these puffs is that they go stale fast! My son is about 9 months old and doesn't eat a lot of these at once. It states on the packaging that they should be used within 1 week for optimal freshness. It takes my son about 3 weeks to finish a package. This caused me to give it four stars instead of five. However, I will still definitely try the other flavors that Plum has available!

My son loves these puffs and they are organic and a good price. That's all I care about. This is also a weird thing: I love the packaging. It's more slender than other puffs that I've purchased, so they don't take up as much room. Weird, I know but these reviews have to be at least 20 words. :)

My son loves his stars. His favorite so far is the orange puffs. They're easy for him to pick up and they disolve quickly in his mouth. They're a great snack on the road or at home, just beware of the leftovers on the floor when baby is done, some will miss the mark. I just wish there was more for your money, really expensive compared to a box of cheerios, but I like knowing its better for my son to eat this than the GMO stuff.

Sassy On the Go Formula Dispenser, Blue

Sassy On the Go Formula Dispenser, BlueI have used one of these in the past and loved it. The old version had a lid as pictured where the top opens towards the middle leaving the edge free of obstruction. Unfortunately the one I was sent had an opposite hinge which got in the way of pouring the formula in the bottle. Not sure why they would make this change as the original worked perfectly.

WOULD RECOMMEND NICE LOOK AND LOVE IT. A MUST BUY. LOVE THE BRIGHT COLOR FOR THE BOYS AND LAST A GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME

I bought this so my husband could mix a protein drink in the car after PT in the mornings (the stuff sold for that is SO EXPENSIVE!) It works for its intended purpose and holds exactly the right amount of powder. My only concern is the lid does not feel like it attaches securely. I understand that you need to be able to rotate the top. Still, I wish it was a little snugger fit.

I bought two of these and I'm pretty bummed with my purchase!

The formula doesn't dispense and traps a lot of it in the container.

I wish I could return!

Loved how this held 4 portions of formula but the lid does not snap as tight as I would like it to. Don't get me wrong it does fit but just doesn't feel "secure" as my other formula containers.

Doidy Cup - Cerise color

Doidy Cup - Cerise color
  • It may look strange! but for teaching your child to drink from a rim it is the best!
  • The DOIDY Cup was scientifically designed with its unique slant to teach children to drink from a rim and NOT a spout.
  • Weaning ~ The DOIDY Cup is an ideal aid to weaning as the natural mouth action used is the same as in breast feeding.
  • The DOIDY Cup is made from food safe HD Polyethylene and is Bisphenol free.
  • This proven 40 year-old design helps your baby learn to drink safely from a cup with fewer spillages along the way.The DOIDY Cups are UNICEF baby friendly and they are sold by the National Childbirth Trust in the U.K.

My daughter loves her doidy. At 5 months, my daughter was showing interest in wanting to drink out of our cups so we got her a cup of her own. She loved it, but of course, more water ended up on her lap than in her mouth. The handles are the perfect size for little fingers and I love that it is more of a controlled dump (in her mouth/lap) than a regular cup with handles would be.

Great product! My daughter still needs help with it but she is learning! I wish I had got this when my boys were younger!

My baby hates bottles but will drink from this cup, we started using this cup when she was 5 months old. Awesome product

Easy to use for little hands. You can only put very little liquid in it because of the slant. Not bad to teach to drink from a cup.

This cup seems like a really good concept, but it just didn't work for us. My daughter learned by using a straw cup first then by a sippy cup and is now learning how to use a real cup (just a small regular cup).

The Sili Squeeze - Citrus Ultimate Sili Pack: 4oz Original Sili Squeeze & 6oz Sili Squeeze with Eee

The Sili Squeeze - Citrus Ultimate Sili Pack: 4oz Original Sili Squeeze & 6oz Sili Squeeze with EeezeI really like these. It seems like they are a little bigger than they say but that is not a problem. They are very easy to fill and clean. It took a few times for my little guy to get the hang of them but he has got it down now and he likes them. I do recommend getting one of each of the different spouts (original and ease) I didn't mean to order one of each but I am glad I did.

Klean Kanteen Kid's Stainless Steel Sippy Bottle

Klean Kid Kanteen Stainless Steel Sippy, Silver, 12-OunceWe have gone through our share of glass and steel baby bottles and now sippy cups. We avoid using plastic wherever possible and glass even with silicone wrappers eventually proved just too easy to break for our little one. For milk or juice, I would still prefer glass as metal does cause foods to oxidize/spoil faster. However, we only give water to our toddler in the steel vessels and they are a better option for this purpose.

The material, fabrication, design and quality is exceptional on the Pura.

Pura Kiki Stainless Sippy Bottle Stainless Steel with XL Sipper Spout, 11 Ounce, Aqua Blue, 6 Months+

Our other three steel sippy cups all have hard plastic parts (lids, spouts, handles, bottoms) that have all cracked or broken after being tossed onto tile or concrete by our toddler.

The Insulated Sippy' by Eco Vessel Insulated Stainless Steel Sippy Cup 10 Oz Ava Pink 1 Container

Contigo Autoseal Stainless Steel Kids 12-Ounce Cup , Green

Klean Kanteen Kid's Stainless Steel Sippy Bottle

The Pura is the only one that has no hard plastic parts to crack or break and has held up to our toddler's abuse and still performs flawlessly.

However, we did tweak the spout on the Pura because it was too difficult to suck (though it did not drip when inverted in this state). I snipped the openings with a small scissor to make the water flow more easily. Yes, our toddler can now shake a little bit of water out (but he could do this with all the other bottles too).

The Pura Kiki is now my favorite steel sippy cup and I just purchased two more!

Thanks for reading, I hope this review was helpful.

I ordered 2 of these for my 2 year old. I was a bit upset when the bottles arrived and did not have the green Avent sippy spouts. I had to go back and check the product page and sure enough the spouts are **not included** even though product images had the spout.

PROS >>>

Good size for a toddler

Very durable

Well constructed

BPA Free

CONS >>>

Avent sippy spout is not included even though it is pictured.

Best sippy! Keeps milk cold, and for real no spill/ leak! The new cap design is great! Going to replace our older caps with new ones

We purchased the first version of this Kleen Kanteen sippy cup (trying to steer away from the weirdly shaped plastic versions). We were generally satisfied but it had multiple pieces and our 18 mo. old promptly broke the top ring making it very leaky. This new sippy top for Kleen Kanteen bottles is a great improvement over the first version, doesn't leak, and seems to be made of a very durable ABS plastic. The "dust cover" is useless since it doesn't attach to the cup in any way. If you are looking for a sippy cup that will last several children, I would go this route.

Other notes, this top might be a bit hard to clean but what sippy cup isn't. Easily thrown in the dishwasher. The paint on the bottle has chipped away under much abuse but then of course this is part of the charm and even in this state it looks much better than a scratched up plastic one.

I got the orange cup and one of the first things my son did was play with the cup by biting the bottom. Without me noticing, he scraped a good amount of paint from the cup and probably swallowed it... *great* The design of the cup itself is not too bad, but I wouldn't get one with color again. I would get the plain stainless steel.

The First Years MiSwivel Feeding Seat

The First Years MiSwivel Feeding Seat, ButterflyI have a set of twins who are now six, a little boy who is four and our new little girl who is now six months. I have been through MANY high chairs and booster seats. All of them were a pain to clean! This one is not!!! There are no strange places for food to fall and get stuck. The fabric (although not the most attractive) is easy to wipe clean. The swivel seems useful and works well, but I have not found it necessary. This chair was purchased because of the size and because it looked easy to keep clean. I definitely need that with four kids in the house. We started using the seat at five months, but she would easily have been comfortable bottle feeding in it at an earlier age because it reclines. I love that she can be with us at the table. It can be taken off the chair it is attached to if needed and I will be taking it with on trips. I have never been happier with a feeding chair as I am with his one. Most people may shy away from buying it because the fabric is not "cute" but what should be more important is the space savings and how easy it is to clean when you have a million other things you have to get done! Take it from a mother of four who has tried everything. You will not be disappointed if you get this chair!!!!!!

We bought this instead of a highchair bc our house is so small and gets cluttered easily. This is perfect. Started using it when LO was 4 months old but could have used it earlier. Although LO doesn't eat food yet, she enjoys sitting at the table with us and playing and cooing while we all eat. I drag our chair into the kitchen when I'm cooking.

We got this product a couple days ago and I am head over heals in love with it! My son is 8 months old and uses the seat in the upright position. At 23lbs he (for me) is pretty heavy. That being said the chair can still swivel and reline with ease while he is in it. My favorite part about this seat is the ease of use. To fasten baby in there is only one snap, which is great for wiggly babies. The tray is one of the best I have ever experienced. It clips on and off effortlessly. We have tried the seat on a number of different chairs, and it fits them all. You can wash or wipe down all the fabric, the added bonus is the cute gender neutral pattern. I have already ordered another one to keep on my parents house!

We originally had a hand-me-down standalone high chair for our daughter. I hated it but it gave me an idea about what I really wanted in a chair, and I feel that this MiSwivel fits the bill exactly. I love that it utilizes a dining chair it just seems like it's not in the way like the other one was. I did worry about my daughter falling forward, since the seat seems to sit very far to the front of the chair, but she seems stable and we've had no problems.

Pros:

1) The padding and straps are easy to clean. We throw them in the wash about once a week, and air dry them (once my husband put the padding in the dryer, and it seemed to shrink. It still fits, but a little tighter than before). It doesn't take long at all for them to dry.

2) The tray is very smooth to operate snaps right into place and is easy to remove. My daughter has not been able to pop it off with her knees, either, despite a lot of squirming and kicking.

3) The tray is easy to clean I have never put it in the dishwasher, but usually use a little dishsoap and the sprayer on my sink.

4) The tray is big enough to keep her food contained (less mess on the floor), and now that she's 14 months old she can reach the cup holder. But it's also not gigantic like the tray on our old chair, which means that it's easier to manage and doesn't take up as much counter space while waiting for a wash.

5) The swivel feature is convenient, but wouldn't have been a deal-breaker for us. We do use it on occasion and it's nice to have.

Cons:

1) We got the pink because it was on sale (and we do have a girl) but it's obnoxious and does not blend into our decor.

2) There are several "joints" in the seat where it comes together to swivel, etc., and food does get into these crevices. It takes a little scrubbing to get it completely clean.

3) The pads come in 2 pieces top and seat. Because of this, sometimes the seat cushion slides around, making it difficult to get my daughter strapped in.

4) The cup holders look like they are sized to accommodate trainer cups that have handles on both sides, but none of my trainer cups actually fit into the cup holder. If she's using a cup with handles, we usually set it on the table and put her chair within reach. Usually she drops it in the middle of her food and eats around it, so she doesn't mind.

The cons are minor in my opinion, but I wanted to list them in case they were a deal breaker for someone else. We are very happy with this chair and my daughter loves it!

I was a little nervous about buying this item given the fact that it's impossible to find in the stores and that this mediocre brand cost much more than many other similar products. But after using it, I have to say that I am really impressed with this chair! This is a great space saver seat that works well provided you have a chair with a wide seat and base. The whole thing minimizes into a padded booster seat once the child is older. The design is functional, practical and it performs wonderfully. The seat has a number of adjustments: 2 height positions, it rotates along the base with ease and also has 5 recline positions, which are not necessary for us since our baby is older than 6 months. Sitting in this chair, my baby is comfortable and supported(unlike the Fisher Price healthy care booster seat where she was very slouchy). I was debating between this chair and the Fisher Price space saver chair, which offers more cute patterns and has more user reviews, but miSwivel won me over on the ease of cleanup. The one piece molded seat is a breeze to clean as it doesn't have any seams or nooks to trap food and grime. The padded cover feels nice to the touch and is machine washable, but even after several weeks of use I still haven't needed to launder it because it wipes down pretty readily. The cover is reversible: one side has an wipeable material and the other has a softer fabric material (which I'm assuming doesn't wipe down but that part was not explained in the manual). Also the harness straps can be removed for washing and the whole seat can be pretty much disassembled for thorough cleaning. I love how easy it is to remove the tray because of the large springy handles (dishwasher safe). The harness snaps and unsnaps easily as well. I was hoping to find a more pleasing pattern, but couldn't find other colors in stock anywhere. While it's smaller than conventional high chairs, it's not really portable. My only complaints are that the plastic tray scratches easily, the harness straps are made from cheap nylon webbing and the dot to dot unisex pattern is meh.
