This is a bit of a pain to use. A better solution is Wilton Bite-Size Brownie Squares 24-Cavity Silicone Mold Pan. If you search for Silicone molds there are more options. Having a bit of space makes them freeze faster and much easier to remove from the pan. I tossed this one for the brownie mold and am much happier.

This is a great product. I should have bought more initially but I wanted to try it out first. I am very satisfied with this product. The cubes are easy to extract, just push them out from the bottom and they slide right out. When filing the tray, i just use a plastic pastry bag or a ziploc bag, fill it with the puree and squeeze it into each cube. It's much more efficient then trying to pour in the food or spoon it in and there is no mess involved.

This product makes the freezing food process more time consuming. You cannot pop the cubes out directly after taking it from the freezer, instead you have to wait until they are a little defrosted and then loosen each cube and push them out from the bottom. The first time I used the tray, I did not wait until the cubes were slightly defrosted when loosening and went right through the side of the tray. Waiting for the cubes to defrost enough to get them out is frustrating and increases the risk of bacteria growth.

Given that every other type of ice cube tray that doesn't leach chemicals is expensive, this product is the best option. Just be aware that it does not work like a typical ice cube tray where you twist it and the cubes spill out. The cubes need to be pushed out from the bottom with my fingers and my hands get cold in the process. So they are kinda annoying. But it's worth it for the price and the non-leaching material. Let me know if anyone can find a BPA/Phalate/PVC free traditional ice cube tray under $8.

I really like this, especially because it's BPA free. Once my baby food is frozen, I take it out and store it in labeled freezer bags to keep them fresh. Some reviews mentioned it was hard to remove the cubes...the first one takes a bit of wiggling, but once one is out, the rest come pretty easy. I just push from the bottom and they slide right out. So far I have pureed sweet potatoes and peas...2 sweet potatoes or about 2 1/2 cups of peas thinned out with breastmilk (or formula) seems to be about the right amount to fill up the tray.

My 17 month old boy loves these, I don't give him as much of these as I used to since he is now into table food more than purees, but I would mix half of this in his oatmeal in the morning or if we are out, I'll use these as a snack or dessert. They are a good handy pouch to throw in your diaper bag and can sit there for days, if not weeks! I love all the ingredients in this one, baby seems to enjoy it too!

These are so yummy. My three year old just loves it. It smells just like Thanksgiving dinner. I like the addition of cinnamon.

Skip Hop Zoo Melamine Plate and Bowl Set

These are great dishes for a toddler. The biggest problem with most melamine kid's dishes on the market seems to be durability. I've tried a couple different brands only to end up with cracked plates or bubbling, peeling decals etc. after very very short periods of time. So far the Skip Hop dishes are proving to be much more durable. I haven' t noticed any scratching, fading or bubbling of the images, even washing daily in the dishwasher. They are also heavier than most dishes and actually feel sturdier. Since I don't care to buy new dishes and add the old ones to the landfill duarbility and longevity are very important to me.

Other pros for these dishes are that they are a nice size for toddlers. The bowl is perfect for cereal or soup. The ladybug and other patterns are also really cute. My two year old loves them. Additionally they are BPA free. The description on Amazon's website is not clear about this, however the manufacturer's website provides this info.

I love all of Skip Hop's items because the are so darn cute. That being said, the hard plastic packaging was so difficult to cut open that it caused me to drop the plate on my kitchen floor (it's only no-wax linoleum NOT ceramic tile) and it broke! I think it should have been able to withstand a single drop...after all, these are made for kids who may push them off a higchair tray, drop them, etc. I'm bummed.

I was really impressed at the incredible quality of these plates and bowls. Here's why I love them:

1) They are pretty much the cutest sets of toddler plates and bowls I have seen. Truly, I don't think the pictures do them justice. They are adorable!

2) They are made of a much heftier plastic, which is heavier but not too heavy for my toddler to lift. This heavier construction means she isn't chasing her plate around her high chair tray when eating it stays put.

3) They are perfectly designed with the toddler in mind. The bowls are deep and wide meaning it is fantastic for toddler yoghurt, soups, cereal, porridge, etc. She is able to completely finish the food in this bowl without needing my help to scrap down the sides or the bottom she can reach it herself. The plates are wonderful for a picky eater (like mine!) who doesn't like her food to touch. The two separated compartments are deep without being "too deep".

4) My toddler seems to enjoy eating more with this set. That may or may not be a fluke, but since getting these adorable plates mealtime has becomes less of a power struggle. She likes eating to reveal the faces!

5) They (so far!) are holding up very well in the dishwasher. No cracks or peeling faces.

My only criticism with these plates and bowls is that they are not microwave safe, but really for all the other benefits, I haven't really noticed. I just use a different plate to heat up the food and transfer it over! A great purchase you will notice the superior quality, I am sure.

This plate/bowl set is absolutely adorable. It seems to be made of good quality and has colors that are really vibrant. It's also big enough for toddler/preschooler use. I took off 1 star because it is not microwavable.

I bought this set as a gift. It is as cute in person as it is online. The bowl and plate have some weight to them which I think would be beneficial for kid use.

Earth's Best Whole Grain Mixed Grain Cereal - Apple Sweet Potato

I add about 3 TB of formula to 1TB of the cereal to get my preferred consistency. My daughter is 5 months and this went over very well with her. No digestive problems, and she loved the taste. I tend to taste everything I give her, and I must admit, it's quite yummy. I will definitely be purchasing again.

i have'nt tried this cereal with my cutie pie as yet but I hope he is everything like his mamma cause he would love sweet potato in his bottle

Munchkin Fresh Food Chopper and Steamer

I used this to chop apples, pears, spaghetti, and carrots. It was a bit difficult to get some of the larger hard pieces all the way through the blade grid but with some force, putting a flat edge facing down, and by cutting them a bit smaller they did get chopped. It would be useful for chopping veggies for salads or onions before cooking.

The steamer is very easy to use once I get the fruit or veggies in there and it works well to get them soft so I can either mash them up into a puree or feed as finger foods. I would even use this to steam veggies for the whole family.

The pieces come apart and it comes with a little comb I thought I would never use but it is actually very helpful in getting the food unstuck after chopping. I was worried about the plastic staining when I used it to chop up spaghetti but I rinsed it right after I used it and it came clean.

I would recommend this product to someone who wants an easy way to prep food for their baby and probably for years after as well. The price is fair for the fact that it serves dual purposes.

I bought theis particular steamer hoping the "chopper" portion would be more useful. You MUST chop the food small and in equal pieces for the chopper to actually, well, chop. Therefore I would have saved money by purchasing the other one I had in my hand and chopping the food myself. The steamer itself works well! I recommend this product for anyone who doesn't plan on making baby food often. If you plan on making every meal, I suggest just buying a quality(and larger) steamer.

Easy to use! Very easy to clean. My only problem is sometimes the veggies didn't cut all the way and I had to use a fork to push it but it's worth it overall!

I have four finches. They are two Bengalese/society finches and two zebra finches. The zebra finches are the more active and messier of my birds. This feeder greatly reduces the mess that they normly make because when they fly up to the perch part to gain access to the food, husks/hulls do not scatter everywhere. The finches like grabbing food and taking it to the highest perch sometimes, so I have the feeders up high enough where they don't feel so inclined to moved around. The small feeders are small enough where they can't hide in it or soil the food. I don't put water in them because finches love taking baths. On another note, they love hiding behind it from one another. The finch version of hide and go see...it's really funny.

The food guard keeps seeds in the cage. That's the only good thing I can say.

The integral perch is too low for a parakeet. Mine can eat from it only if I fill the container nearly to the brim. Food at the bottom of the dish is inaccessible and wasted.

Construction is pretty flimsy, too. The mechanism that snaps the feed cup into place is thin plastic and I suspect it will soon break from fatigue. Once that happens, the feed cup is gonna end up on the floor a lot.

Throw in the fact that it's just plain overpriced and I cannot recommend this product.

the imagage of the bird feeder looked bigger than it seems. i am not happy with it, and both my parakeets will not eat the food from it. they can barily get their heads into get the food.

I put this in my House Sparrow trap to keep them alive so their friends will join them. The birds figured it our right away. It is just the right size. If it was any bigger I wouldn't be able to remove it to empty the husks and refill it.

I bought this as a water cup for my keet but he only tried bathing in it! I never saw him take a bath before! Obviously he can't fit in there so I only use it as a treat cup, it's too restricted as a seed cup, comes in handy for miscellaneous doo dads.

This product looks very sturdy and I love the portion size, (small) but I have a problem. Where are the holes? Mine did not come with holes in the sticks. Nobody else seems to have this issue, so it must just be the ones I received. I think this is important because the sticks come out and leave the popsicles in the trays :(

I really like the size of these popsicles for my toddler, but the handle is so short that it is really hard for her to hold. Other than that, the trays work great.

These popsicle makers are the perfect size for everyone in the family!! They are sturdy and not cheap and the holders have supported juice to frozen yogurt with crushed graham crackers. We will enjoy them all summer!!!

I am very disappointed with these popsicle trays. I read the relatively good reviews and ordered 2 sets of these. When I tried it, I repeatedly found that it was difficult to remove the fully frozen popsicles from the tray. They kept getting separated from the sticks! Thank goodness the kids were not around, anxiously waiting for their treats. I even took the time to run warm water on the outside of the mold before removing it and I was only able to successfully pull out 1 out of the 8 popsicles while it was still attached to the stick.

I went back online to read the reviews to see if I missed something. I realized that the Kidco popsicle trays that I received did not come with the HOLES ON THE STICKS like it is pictured online. It may seem like a minor detail but it makes a huge difference in function since it helps keep the popsicles attached to the stick when you pull it out of the tray.

I've been corresponding with the manufacturer regarding this problem. Kidco has been helpful, and they are in the process of sending me the older model as a replacement. I'm hoping that this replacement set will work.

We love these baby food things in a little pouch. Sooooo much easier to feed to a baby or toddler on the go. Our son loves sucking the mish mash out and we are pleased that it is both organic and healthy with nothing added. He'll eat the sweet potato and other veggie pouches when he is more hungry, but probably because of the sweetness of fruit, he far prefers the fruit mish mashes to the veggie ones. For smaller children, not good to let them handle it themselves, because they love to squeeze it, which gets things everywhere. But older ones can feed to themselves. I like the 3 oz size rather than the bigger one like this (4 oz) because it assures that he will eat all or most of it in one sitting rather than having to save some for later. They only keep for 24 hours after opening and need to be refrigerated if not eaten, but then he doesn't like them cold, so they have to be warmed up a bit in warm water to reuse, so a bit of a hassle. You can also take the 3 oz size on airplanes without having to have it tested for explosives not the case with the bigger 4 oz pouches. I also like that it is BPA free. If your little one likes them, ordering in bulk and with subscribe and save makes them much cheaper than at the store.

these pouches are the greatest invention. Its so much easier than jar baby food and my 2 yr old still loves them. They dont need to be refrigerated before opening so can be kept in a diaper bag and are an easy way to get vegetables into your children.

I wish we had never fed these pouches to my daughter. She prefers these over anything I make because she loves to hold the pouch and suck it down. She is drinking calories and in my mind this is tantamount to getting her hooked on juices. Just a warning if you're a first time buyer. Like other reviewers for Plum Organics, I find it misleading that the product name always mentions the vegetables first, when fruit is almost always the first ingredient. I do not consider most of these pouches a health food whatsoever. However, I will buy this particular flavor because sweet potatoes are the first ingredient.

Before buying a case of these through Amazon, I bought one pouch at my local Target. Thank goodness I did! This sweet potato, corn, and apple flavor is absolutely disgusting! The ingredients list states lemon juice as the last ingredient. When I tasted it, it seemed like it was the main ingredient. No wonder my son made the most disapproving look after one spoonful, which prompted me to try it for myself. I usually like most of the flavors in the Plum Organics line, but this one is extremely sour (as one reviewer noted on Feb 11, 2011). There is no trace of sweet potato, corn, and apple flavors. It should be called Plum Organics Lemon.

I used to love Plum Organics, and this one is actually really tasty. My toddler loved it. That is, until this last shipment batch, which was completely sour/spoiled. I looked for the expiration date, and that is still within range. It was however, really really bad. I ended up throwing away the entire big box of it. Very disappointed.
