BIG FANS of Plum Organics. Great product, easy to pack in a diaper bag. Even our five-year-old wants to eat this and we have to remind her that her baby sister needs to eat it as she can eat anything she wants being five but the baby cannot. Try, you will love it!

my 9 month old just sucks these right out of the tube ... making them super easy items for travel. They taste slightly tart, but he doesn't seem to mind that.

I have to keep a few of these stuffed in my diaper bag at all times! In general I love the pouches for easy on the go food for baby, but the Just Pears are especially nice since they are light in color (dribbles don't stain her clothes) and they are small enough to go through airport security in a quart zipper bag. (The larger pouches can also go through security, but you have to declare the baby food and they sometimes test each and every pouch that's over the 3.5 oz amount) Thus, these are my favorites for air travel. Oh, and my daughter loves the taste too!

I'll only buy Plum Organics baby food and this is just another example why. It's exactly what it says: just pears. No added preservatives or anything. The consistency is smooth, my baby loves it, and the packaging is convenient. I'd personally prefer to make all my own food, but this is allows me to "cheat" w/o feeling bad about it.

This product was very well liked by my 6 month old son. The product is good refrigerated or not. The pouches are great, you just squeeze out what u need n store the rest. We have tried other flavors from this company as well and they too are also very good.

SoHo Designs - Royal Red Diaper Bag with Changing Pad 5 pieces Set

I ordered the Red Soho Designs bag 5 Pieces. Its really cute and for the price its awesome because you get the two main bags and accessories! The bigger bag isnt huge but def big enough for food and diapers for an infant. The additional bag is good for when your baby gets bigger and needs a separate bag for food. Does not have any elastic to hold anything in place inside the bag but there is one zipper pocket both inside and out. There are two pouches on the outside as well but the elastic isnt super tight so I wouldnt put a bottle or anything of value in them. Other than that I really do love these bags

I love the color of the bag. I just wish the bottle bag had something to attach it to one of the diaper bags.

Gerber 2nd Foods - Dessert, 2-Count, 3.5-Ounce Tubs (Pack of 8)

Gerber's Peach Cobbler tastes amazing...just like real peach cobbler but without the added sugars and butter. My husband and I tried it to see why our daughter liked it so much and we quickly figured out that it was the best tasting baby food we've purchased and at a great price.

Sprout Organic Baby Food Roasted Bananas and Brown Rice Intermediate 2 -- 3.5 oz

My general rule is that if I wouldn't eat it, neither should my baby. That means that we don't have a lot of store-bought baby foods around the house, and it definitely nixes those boxed rice cereals. But this stuff is delicious. My son can't get enough of the bananas and rice, and I've been known to lick the spoon when he's done.

I also really like that Sprout is all organic, with fairly simple ingredients: organic bananas, rice and cinnamon, water, citric acid, and ascorbic acid. I will say that I was expecting it to look more like the cup of rice in the picture, but instead it is a pure baby food puree. A yummy puree though, as purees go.

Gerber Graduates BPA Free 2 Pack Scoopin Spoon

I like these spoons. They are chubby for little hands to grip well and are not real big. They are lightweight and seem to work well. The only drawback would be the size of the bowl. It is not wide (which is good) but the bowl of the spoon is deep. My little one has to stick it in her mouth twice to get the entire bite off the spoon. This might remedy itself as she gets older (she is only 15 months old), but it is something to think about. The spoons are durable and can be washed in the dishwasher.

I will admit I have NOT tried all the choices in spoons that are meant for "new self-feeders" but I do believe these have worked great for teaching my 15-18 mo old how to feed himself.

The food stays IN the spoon as the toddler lifts it to his mouth and because the "bowl" of the spoon is flexible it makes it easier on him (kinder to his mouth and good for when he didn't yet know how to angle the spoon correctly).

They wash up great in the top rack of the dishwasher, although its sometimes difficult to get the spoons to stay face down in the dishwasher basket. If they end up face up they are filled with water when the dishwasher is done.

The handles are nice and big to make it easy for a infant/toddler to hold onto. (skinny handles don't work for uncoordinated hands).

The length of the spoon is nice it's better to have short handles for a toddler just learning to feed himself.

The only true "Con" (besides the face up dishwasher comment) I wish there was a gender neutral choice. I don't particularly prefer pink myself and its a bit odd handing my son a pink spoon but it doesn't really matter does it ? :)

I had bought these spoons last year for my oldest when she was learning to self feed. She never really took to these because the bowl of the spoon is very deep and hard for her to get the food out with her mouth by herself. However, I recently found that these soft, rubbery spoons make wonderful teethers, as my 10 mos old quickly discovered when I accidently dropped one on the floor one day. She will chew on the bowl of the spoon for quite some time -it seems to bring her lots of relief, and she even prefers it over most of her traditional teething toys.

These are my favorite spoons for our two year old...I love the chunky size, big handle for her to hold, and the food stays in the spoon long enough for her to get it to her mouth. Also, I like that the spoon is flexible, and all one piece design. Can't go wrong!!
