I bought these to put on my bottles for daycare. The package says on it that it fits bottles, but they just slide off the Dr. Brown bottles. They would be good for sippy cup size, but that is not what I bought them for. If I had known that they don't fit bottles, I would not have bought these.I love it. I don't have to write on my bottles anymore. I don't end up with ink all over me anymore.I bought these so my daycare could write on them instead of marking up my bottles. They work for that purpose, but since I use DrBrown bottles, they do not fit my bottles. They are a little to big for DrBrown bottles. However they do fit my toddler's sippy cups very well.Bandette Cup and Bottle Labels

IMomo Baby Travel Bowl and Spoon Set, GreenI was super excited when I found this bowl as it seemed perfect for packing my toddler's lunch for daycare. Love the divided container. However, upon arrival, it turns out that the lid does not stay on. At all! The box appeared to be beat up and taped so my guess is, I am not the only one who returned this container. The only reason I am giving this item 2 stars is because at the same time I ordered a pink one and the lid on that one stays on. Not too tightly, but for a short distance and solid food it will do.

This is a great product and I am looking forward to using it when she is about 9 months. I cant see that spoon in her mouth any sooner than that. My daughter is on the small side, but all other spoons I have purchased are consideraly smaller.Eco Vessel Gobble N Go Kids Stainless Steel Snack Cup Slotted Silicon
I got this about 6 weeks ago, blue. It looked really attractive, the cup was sturdy and very nicely sized and shaped. The lid was soft and seemed smartly designed. My 18-month-old glimpsed it and wanted it right away and learned to enunciate the word BOWL on the spot. However, I put the lid on and it got on a little too easily, and also came off very easily. It didn't fit snugly at all and I just had to brush my fingers along the edge for it to start to peel away from the bowl. I glumly put it aside and emailed the company to find out if this was normal, was told it was not. They promptly mailed me another lid that was supposed to be tighter. It wasn't. We figured it was probably a small bowl, so they sent out a whole other blue bowl and lid. It was the same as the first set. It was just too loose. My baby got the lid off with no trouble, without any thought or finger strength, once by just putting his hand in and pulling it out -the lid flaps just clinging loosely around his hand was enough to overcome whatever grip the lid had around the bowl.
Anyway, I really liked the overall product which is why we waited so long and tried to resolve it. I considered just keeping it for the nice steel bowl with the good handles but decided that wasn't worth the cost so I returned it.
I hope they just had a batch of badly fitted lids and small blue bowls, and if you order one it's tighter. If it works for you and you leave a good review, I might try to order this again because it really looks like a quality, thoughtful product! Maybe we just had really bad luck.
Again, lovely customer service.I do love that this cup is stainless steel and the lid is silicone! So much better than our old plastic one. Wish the lid was a little harder to get off. It took my son less than 5 minutes to take off, but the reality is that if it were harder he would just work harder and eventually get it off anyway;) When the lid is on, the snacks do stay in. My son loves it!

My little guy is a month or so short of 2 years old, so an expert snacker at this point. Yes, the lid comes off easily, but he's dumping stuff out less these days; in fact he takes pride in holding bowls and things carefully upright. We've used it open as much as with the top. That said, to take the cup out or pack it, it would be great to have a solid-closing lid.He was very excited about his new snack cup when we received it, but I'd call it more of a bowl than a cup. Like others have said, it's bigger than I expected, so I fill no more than a quarter of it most times. As his dexterity is more fine lately, we have less of the trouble as we did earlier on with a whole handful of goodies exploding out as he pulled out his hand -that definitely happened all the time with the stiffer plastic cups.
One thing I haven't read yet, and maybe it's my squeamish ears, is that the sound of his little nails scraping the brushed (or whatever the term for the "matte" finish) stainless interior drives me nuts! Like nails on a chalk board! I wonder if it could be made with a smoother inside like the outside finish... Also, I probably won't use it out and about until it warms up outside; it just gets too cold to hold. But that's no fault of the product, just winter!
That sounds like lots of negatives, but the materials outweigh much of the above. We have wooden plates replacing most of our plastic; maybe this will become our staple oatmeal bowl now. I also love that there's a neutral-colored option -we love orange.

This would be the ultimate eco-friendly snack trap if the handle weren't plastic and instead bamboo or something. It would also be nice if the lid were snug. It stays on okay, but sometimes just comes off by sticking the hand in and pulling out. Maybe if they left the rim unfinished like the inside that would give the lid some extra grip.Want Eco Vessel Gobble N Go Kids Stainless Steel Snack Cup Slotted Silicon Discount?
I like this cup to use for non-messy snacks for my 14 month old to feed herself. She can easily get her hand in and out of the cup and likes to see what I've put in each time she sees it. After reading the reviews about the loose fitting lit, I thought, surely that's been fixed by now, but my lid (ordered April 2013) is also loose fitting. We haven't had any major messes as a result, but If the cup gets put in the bottom of a bag, I now expect that the top will be off when I go to reach for it. It's easy to clean, has held up well and will be good for years of use, I'm hoping. I wish there were more designs available, but that's just a minor detail.Thermos Funtainer Food Jar, Toy Story 3
He's not a big fan of sandwiches and several other types of "typical" food you would pack for your kid's lunch.
He loves fruits, but we couldn't just pack fruits forever.
We wanted to pack warm food, like rice, soup, stew, etc, stuff we know he likes and would eat.
We generally pack it around 7:30 AM and it's still warm by lunch.
A few hints and tips we got elsewhere:
before packing the food, put some hot water in the thermos for a minute. Putting hot food in a cold thermos will lower the food temperature a little bit.
pack really hot food. The hotter the food, the warmer it will be by lunch.I bought this for my 3 year old once his preschool did away with their microwave. I actually have a "grownup" food thermos but he wanted his own and loves Toy Story. It is a really cute thermos and is a nice size for smaller kids(under 10). The mouth of the thermos is wide enough to eat right from it so that is a plus. However, it doesn't do the greatest job at keeping foods hot. My grownup thermos does keep food hot after 5-6 hours but this one only keeps it warm. Not so bad and for a 3 year old probably a good thing!
2 things that help keep the food a little warmer:
1. put very hot water in the thermos for about 10-15 minutes before putting food in. This preheats the thermos.
2. make sure the food you're putting in thermos is very hot.

The Funtainer really does keep keep hot food warm until lunch time. I do follow the directions of boiling hot water and placing water in the container for at least 5 minutes before the food. It also works very well for cold foods too. (This time I put ice water.) The container also closes securely so I have no worry of spills. However, if you have a young child, (s)he may need help opening it. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.Read Best Reviews of Thermos Funtainer Food Jar, Toy Story 3 Here
This container does not keep food hot even if you put boiling water in it for 15 minutes before putting piping hot food into it. By lunchtime (only about 4 hours later) my son says the food is only a little warm. Not worth it!Fits just the right amount of food for a preschooler who has a fairly large appetite. Cleans very well in the dishwasher.Munchkin Snack Catcher, 4 Pack

Every day, I give my 10 month old either meats that I pureed myself, or Beech Nut meats. Meat is super important to babiesThe AAP is now recommending starting meats at 6 months of age due to essential vitamins & amino acids (zinc, proteins, vitamin B12, iron, etc). I recommend mixing this meat with a jar of stage 2 squash, sweet potatoes, apples, peas, or other baby foods. The meat by itself probably doesn't taste the greatest; but my son LOVES it mixed with other foods!!Read Best Reviews of Beech Nut Homestyle Stage 1 Beef and Beef Broth Baby Food 2.5 Oz 8 Packs Here

to report your claim/problem. They will investigate the problem and the Earth's Best Plant to make sure they are following regulations.I tested this one on my twin 10-month old babies and they liked it immediately. It was their first beef and their first spinach. I had already given them chicken and they really like it so they are not vegetarians yet anyway. Mostly I wanted this product for the spinach and the higher iron content. Somehow they made this particular flavor brand tasty for babies.
I like getting these by the case rather than buying them a jar at a time at the store since 2 babies eat so much. It's good to keep several flavor brands around too I think, to give your baby a variety. I'm sure I'll get another case when this one is finished.

Yes I read the other reviews. And given the review dates and my other experiences with Earth's Best I was not too concerned that the problems mentioned would still be an issue. And they were not.We have tried almost all of the gourmet line of Earth's Best and these are great for adding protein to your little one's (LO) diet. Google the Earth Best's website for complete nutrition info. Most 2nd stage food have between 2 and 3 grams of protein a serving. This one has 5grams of protein and only 2 grams of sugars. Our LO likes the taste and we like the ingridients and nutrition profile. Recommended.

I ordered a flat of food (they were on sale) that contained Chicken Apple Compote Dinner. It contained 3 of this variety and he liked the first one but the others, although properly sealed, were solid and moldy and stinky. One of the Turkey dinners in the flat was also improperly sealed; the lid popped. We were lucky because I just happened to check that one. Now I'm so paranoid that I check all of them several times. I called Earth's Best and they assured me that they haven't had this problem before and that I shouldn't worry about it. I'm so suprised that this got passed QA/QC inspection at a baby food manufacturer. Why would a company take the risk of bad publicity when baby food manufacturers rely so much on a reputation of safety?!
We also recently opened 5 other jars in this flat after my son refused to eat them and realized that they were rotten. 3 of them were completely solid and domed at the top! We poked a toothpick down to the bottom of the jar and it was dry throughout. Shortly after eating his last dinner of this box, my son started vomiting and refused to eat. We have contacted the USDA about this. If this happens to you, please same your jars so you can give them the information they need. It may prevent other babies from getting sick.
I'll never buy anything from Earth's Best again!

My baby enjoyed this flavor when I purchased it at a store. I ordered a case of it from Amazon. the whole case arrived moldy. Each jar popped when I opened it too, showing that it was properly sealed. I contacted Earth's Best. They said they would look into it but would not follow up with me. Given what is going on in our food industry, I will not purchase any more products from this company. It is to scary when feeding a baby. Amazon refunded me but did not take it any further. Be very careful and inform other families too. UPDATE: I was so disappointed with the lack of concern from Earth's Best and Amazon. I contacted the FDA, they referred me to the USDA because the product contained meat. They took it very serious and had also received several complaints. They have come to my house and written a report. If anyone else noticed this problem please contact the USDA (1-888-674-6854).to report your claim/problem. They will investigate the problem and the Earth's Best Plant to make sure they are following regulations.
Earth's Best Organic Sunny Days Snack Bars, 5.3 Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)
I compared Earth's Best Apple snack bars (my little guy's favorite) with Health Valley Apple Cobble cereal bars and Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Apple Cinnamon.
Packaging:
Earth's Best snack bars are KID-sized. Only 19g.
The other two are 37g each.
As most parents know, having things in smaller packages is handy because kids often don't eat all of what you give them. So unless you always remember to carry extra baggies or storage containers around, Earth's Best has the no-waste edge.
***For the rest of this review, the numbers I give for Earth's best are based on a doubling of serving size from 19g to 38g so as to be on relative equal footing with the other two bars***
Sugars:
Nutri-Grain (NG): 12g
Health Valley (HV): 16g
Earth's Best (E'sB): 18g
So, yes, Earth's best does have the highest sugar content of the three, but that's assuming your child will eat the whole 37/38g worth of bar.
Mine won't.
And, if you consider the source of the sugars (which, believe it or not, matters to some people), Health Valley and Earth's Best derive theirs primarily from evaporated can juice, honey, and the apple itself.
Nutri-Grain lists high-fructose corn syrup and plain ol' sugar almost a dozen ingredients before you actually see 'apple puree' listed.
One final sugar note, when ANY kind of fruit is reduced to a concentrate, its level of sugar (fructose) becomes concentrated as well. That's why it may take a whole apple to equal the same amount of sugar found in a couple of tablespoons of the concentrated apple found in a processed snack.
Ingredients:
Just a reminder, what's listed first on the ingredients label is what the product contains the most of, and so on down to the bottom.
If you think your child is eating an apple snack bar, then apple should be the first thing list, not near the last.
Organics:
Read the labels thoroughly.
Healthy Vally claims 70% organic.
Earth's Best claims made with Organic Whole Wheat.
Neither of these items claims to be 'ORGANIC' in its entirety. So don't be miffed if you see the word and think it means the whole product only to find out it doesn't.
Other Nutrition consideration:
Fiber: This is the one truly weak point of Earth's Best. It list NONE. The other two each list 3g. Now, I'm not 100% certain that 0g for the E'sB 19g serving also means 0g for a double serving, but it's safe to assume that it would still be less than 1g.
Vitamins: E'sB wins this one. Narrowly beating out Nutri-grain with added Zinc, Iron, Thiamin and Folic Acid, though a tad less on Riboflavin and Niacin.
Health Valley has modest amounts of vitamins, but nothing to compare with the other two.
This said, if you're the kind of parent who is truly concerned about a well-balanced diet, you know that the value of vitamins from these sources isn't as good as getting them from fresh fruits and vegetables, so don't bank on these bars as a multivitamin alternative.
Sodium:
NG: 110mg
HV: 85mg
E'sB: 90mg (45mg/19g)
Protein:
At the 37/38g serving size, all offer 2g.
Total carbs:
NG: 24g (8%)
HV: 27g (9%)
E'sB: 28g (9%)...but 14g/19g serving size
Calories:
NG: 120
HV: 130
E'sB: 140...70/19g serving size
And an added note on calories: kids are active little things and hardly want to sit to eat or do anything to take away from their play/work.
While I do prefer to give my little guy as much 'fresh' stuff as possible (and I give him a fair amount), he fills up on it, but burns through the energy (i.e. calories) quickly and is loathe to pause long to eat again.
This said, when you can find a SMALL, tasty supplemental snack that's relatively healthy and also packs on the calories for your little one, then you often stick with it.
The Verdict:
If cost is the most important factor when choosing a cereal bar, then, yes, Nutri-Grain is likely your best bet.
If convenience of size and nutritional content drive you (despite cost), then Earth's Best is definitely the way to go.
Health Valley has it's taste merits, but lacks in other ways.
I 100% believe of the value of paying a little more for Earth's Best smaller bars because it provides a compact, calorie and nutrient rich snack that is fairly healthy.I started buying these when my twins were twothey LOVE them! It's a great, healthy snack for on-the-go. The only complaint I have is that they are extremely crumbly, so beware! With that said, I would definitely recommend these... they are soft and chewy and very tasty!
