The back DOES peel off of these bibs. We wash all of our bibs in a mesh bag to keep them from sticking to clothes. This one peeled after ONE washing. What a waste! We'll stick with pricier bibs that do what they are supposed to and don't leave little bits of plastic on my infant.

I'm a bib user. I have a 3 year old and twin 8 month olds. This bib is terrible. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the waterproof backing comes off after a couple of washes. It just started to peel off. I didn't even wash them in the machine like I believe you can.

I recommend you pay a little more and go with the Bumpkins. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this bib as I wanted another bib with 'food catcher' and didn't want to pay for another babybjorn one. It has been through the washing machine only on a couple of occasions as it has been mainly wiped clean and I am too finding the backing on the bib is peeling away. The variety of colors is good but I wont be buying another one!

I wash these suckers like crazy and they don't fall apart. I accidentally dry them, and they still don't fall apart. The fit is good, they are lightweight and move around with the baby, and I actually thing I prefer these to the bumkins ones I have, although I really like those too.
