We have three sets of these cutlery, need I say more? Two for home & one I keep in my purse for when we eat out. My daughter has been using these for a year and has always been the set that she has preferred. She is 22 months now, and is the only set she will use. I think its a combination of the fact that they are thin & easy to hold, as well as the fact that she can actually pick up food with the fork. Other sets, the fork was too blunt, and she would end up just using her fingers rather than stab repeatedly with no success.

My 2-year old son loves having a knife of his own at the table. It doesn't really cut, so it's frustrating for him, but he has the illusion of cutting his meat and learning as he goes.
