I have been using Gerber brand baby food and my child liked it. I saw this on AMAZON for Earth's Best and was a good deal with my subscribe and save so I ordered it. I tried out the peas on my daughter yesterday and she was much more interested in them then she has ever been with the gerber. I noticed the appearance of the peas was more smooth then gerber and the smell and taste was better ( I always taste her food) so I am very pleased with Earth's Best and will continue to get their can foods in the future.

I bought these to introduce foods to my twins. I wanted to see how they handled eating, watch for any allergic reactions, and see if they had any favorites before attempting to make food on my own. It was so incredibly difficult to find food that was JUST the veggie and water, even in organic foods. These were very smooth purees that really tasted like the veggie (yes, I often taste the babies' food). The jars are a good size for starting off small, so you can finish them in a day or two. My twins ate every one of these. We will probably purchase these a few more times just for quick meals when we don't have time to do anything from scratch.

These were all great first foods for baby. We started using stage 1 foods at 6 months until he moved up to stage 2 at 7 1/2 months. They are easily digestible and tasty for baby. The ingredients are simple and pure, exactly what I wanted for my 6 mo old. Some bottles are runnier than others and some are thicker. They all maintain a stage 1 consistency but each vegetable is different.
