The product description did not have the dimensions of this product, so I took a chance. This placemat is smaller than I had anticipated (it is 10x14). However it does have some nice features.

Pros

-It is difficult for our little one to move their plate around. (obviously, it doesn't stop them from picking the plate up though!)

-It stays in place and won't slide around. It sticks to the table.

-The plate kind of sticks to it.

Cons

-Small (lots of area for the little guy to splatter food that isn't on the mat)

-My son likes to mold it and pick it up. (not really the company's fault though)

-sticky properties don't work on a table cloth (which is kind of to be expected)

Overall this is a good product, but it really needs to be bigger and the product description really needs to let people know the product size.

I love this placemat I searched for a long time and ordered and returned many items to find a placemat that works for me. Our table is not smooth so suction cups dont work and I needed something that does not leave a residue. This is perfect for my son as he grows. Sticks to my non smooth table (and smooth one downstairs), does not leave a residue at all, Also allows items on top to stick to it but they are easily moved by my son (like his cup), so far easy to wash but I have only rinsed it and it stayed tacky. No washing instructions included. Emailed the company and it said they believe it is dishwasher safe. That does not make me confident, and is my only complaint. I have not used a red pasta on it yet so I do not know if it will stain. However if it does it will not bother me. I would so reccommend this to everyone. Would not travel well because of the tackiness, maybe it could be packed in a wax paper and brought along, that might work.

I got this mat for when my Granddaughter came to visit. It was so nice

to have at the table for her food. Easy to clean. Works great with the

suction cup bowls for toddlers!

Great placemat, skid proof and washes easily. Doesn't lose its stickiness over time. Great for smaller babies though who can eat off it without questioning what the mat is. My 15 mo old now peels it off and throws it down for me to pick up, lotsa fun for him I guess

Not as sticky as I hoped it would be. My little man can still slide his plate (and food) around. It is small but perfect to fit on a high chair table. Might be better as a travel mat for restaurants.
