However, the one major flaw, and it is a MAJOR flaw, is that smells cling to these bowls. Silicone is supposed to help and prevent this, but we can tell you, strong smells you cook with will in fact be absorbed by the material. Once this happens, it is very difficult to get the smell out particularly onion.
Some solutions don't keep these in the kitchen (perhaps impractical);
or, store them in an airtight location/container. This is unfortunate.At first these plates seemed wonderful--unbreakable, colorful, toddler-sized. But now--about five months later--all the food I put in there tastes like plastic. I can clearly taste the difference if I eat the same food off my plate and then try it on my toddler's plate. I will no longer be using these plates.

This will be my first time to write a review for a product on Amazon. And I've purchased alot of things lately on Amazon. I keep telling myself that I should write a review because I am so very grateful for all the reviews I read up on the products that end up helping me to decide on my purchases.So here goes:
I absolutely LOVE these jars! I'm a very eco-friendly minded mom and only want the best, natural, green products for my son. The fact that this company, Kinderville has created a product that is green and BPA/Phthalate (sp?) and Lead free has my vote!
I only put 4 stars because when travelling with the jars, you have to make sure not to have anything on top of it or else the jar lid may come loose (which happened to me and some of the food spilled out)...but other than that, I would highly recommend these to anyone!!

I looked long and hard for something like this. We love them. Sturdy, nicely designed, weighted well on the bottom. Perfect size for toddler (16 months) and nice colors too. So much better than other BPA-free plastic cups I've tried. Hurrah! They're a little pricier but worth it.Want Kinderville Little Bites Silicone Bowls, Cups and Storage Jars Discount?
Yikes, I love these little cups as alternative to everything plastic, however, beware! The silicone cup can form a powerful suction over the baby's nose and mouth potentially suffocating her! My 15-month old likes to bite on the cup tipping the mouth to her face and the wet cup at one time clung to her mouth and formed a red circle mark on her face when I had my back turned only a few seconds. Always keep an eye on baby, always, when using these cups.
