green sprouts 2 Count Scoop Bib

green sprouts 2 Count Scoop Bib, Pink, Green, 6-12 MonthsThese bibs are pretty good.

Positives: They do a great job of catching food dribbles and chunks, are pretty stain-resistant, and they hold up pretty well (as long as you don't regularly fold the scoop part when traveling, which can cause them to crack)

Negatives: I wish they had a little better coverage side to side, my son (18 months) is now able to get them off by himself, and they can crack if you regularly fold them for travel

Another option is the Tommee Tippee roll bibs... my son is not yet able to take them off himself, and after 6 months they appear to be pretty indestructible.... but they don't catch the food chunks quite as well as the iplay bib and they do stain with things like tomato sauce (although the stains seem to come out after a couple of washings)

The bibs are fantastic, all except for one complaint I have. The "clasp" in the back is a little rubber button that goes through a small hole on the other side. There is a good range of sizing, but the button pops out of the hole so easily. There is no snap, slide, or any other way for the button to "lock" in. So a few tugs and the bib come loose. The rubber edging around the neck is nice, though. No red marks or irritations. The scoop is the perfect angle and size. My only other thought would be that it might be too big and bulky for a baby younger than around 9mos or a small one. My son is 9mos old and he can get his arms around it, but it does seem to get in his way a bit.

My 7 month old daughter SCREAMS every time I put one of these bibs on. The latch on the back is kind of hard and pokes her in the back of the next if she leans back in her high chair and she can easily pull these bibs off since the snap isn't very secure. I like the scoop bit and it is very easy to wash and doesn't stain. I just need to get my daughter to accept it.

Love it as you get two, price is right and they're easy to clean. My husband of course left one in the dishwasher bottom rack and it melted... but that's just stupidity to do, so otherwise these are great. My son likes the way these sit on him better than the other plastic scoop bibs as well.

My 6 month old has this pulled off within seconds. Even my two year old (whom this fits nicely) can't help but bump it with her arm and it comes open and falls off.

If this was fixed it would be a perfect bib!
