Earth's Best - Organic - Rice Cereal - 8 Oz

Earth's Best - Organic - Rice Cereal - 8 OzWhen I started my son on solids at 6 months, he developed a rash all over his torso. It seemed strange that he would be allergic to rice cereal, until I noticed that Gerber puts a soy filler in all of their cereals. I looked everywhere to find a soy-free cereal, and finally found this. My son loves it! Beechnut also has a soy-free rice cereal, but the texture is more gummy and makes my son gag. This has been a life saver. I purchase it (in great quantities) at WalMart.

Regarding the product, my baby likes it and it doesn't have any allergic reaction on my baby. We usually mix this rice cereal with organic banana or pears or apple. I buy this from my near by Walmart super center for $2.76 including tax. Why in the world it is so much priced here. Usually in Walmart I find it in limited stock, whenever I go, I stock up two or three packs. Just for the price, I reduced one star.

This rice cereal is a five star product and my baby loves it, but being rookies at buying baby food that isn't formula, my wife and I bought this online here thinking it'd be cheaper than buying it at the store. Imagine our (not so pleasant) surprise when we walked through the food isle at Babies 'R Us and saw this same exact product regularly priced for $2.79... in NY! Even with shipping, I can't imagine it should cost anywhere near $10. The power of product packaging and marketing really got us this time. Next time we're definitely doing more price Google-ing and buying from somewhere else!

My baby girl is ready for her 1st solid food, and I can't believe it actually costs double the price than Trader Joe's.

Like the other mommy said, this company actually take advantage from mommy like us..... cause we don't have time to compare price around.

I am going to return this product.

My baby likes, and so do I. No chemical derivatives DHA in it, just plain rice cereal. Just perfect for a good start. If you want to add to you baby's diet some DHA, you can still choose some organic ones, that comes from fish oil. Same thing for probiotics and so on.
