Aveeno Baby Diaper Rash Cream, Fragrance Free, 3.7-Ounce Tube

Aveeno is one of my preferable brands because it works well for sensitive skin across the board. Obviously the diaper rash cream is geared toward babies who all have sensitive skin so it's quite suitable. The biggest selling points about this particular cream are that it's fragrance free, it's not oily so you avoid damaging clothes or cloth diapers should you choose to use them, and it's easy to find for an affordable price pretty much anywhere. My baby's skin is typically soothed within the first hour of applying the cream.

Being as this is a cream, it is a little mild for extreme diaper rash cases. I go with a heavier ointment for those casesDesitin Creamy Diaper Rash Ointment 4 oz. + FREE Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion Fragrance Free 8 oz.. It's a lot more pricey so I only use it the Destin in really bad rash cases but it works wonders. It stops my child from crying by the end of covering the rash area. It takes a little bit to absorb because of it's thickness but it's so great for their little skin and it really works to relieve the pain. A little non-scented lotion seals it in and keeps it from rubbing away onto clothes or diapers which is great too.

Used some other generic products but this is hands down the best. A bit pricey but is totally worth it.

I have tried other creams, they all seemed to sting and hurt the kiddos when applied and did not clear the rash quickly. Aveeno cream did not hurt the babies (I have used it on all 3 of my kiddos now) and it worked fast to clear up their rashes. I would highly recommend it. I buy it as baby shower gifts for new moms now too, along with a pack of diapers and wipes to give them a head start on diaper rash days aheadthen they won't have to struggle with going through several different creams before they find one that works!
