We bought this as an alternative to synthetic vitamins. Our pediatrician had never heard of feeding buckwheat cereal to children and was surprised when we told him we were using it. My wife translated the nutritional information and he approved it instead of a vitamin supplement.

I hate writing reviews but I just had to this time. I have tried everything from rice,oatmeal, and barley cereals. My daughter would wake up every hour at night after eating these cereals. Then I came across buckwheat cereal! She has slept through the night ever since. It is so tasty and so easy to make. I am going to be trying the ones with fruit soon.

I grew up in Russia, and of course I was looking for a buckwheat for my baby.

This one is currently the only option sold through Amazon that is quick and easy to prepare (just add water or formula). We often prepare it without being fully awake in the morning no cooking involved.

It's good for baby's health and adds to a variety of breakfast and midday snack options.

It also tastes great: once my friend saw how eagerly the baby opens his mouth to get it she made a comment: "He is certainly a Russian baby!"

Delivery was prompt with cereal boxes adequately protected from any damage. Last but not least affordable price (I'd still cut it just a bit, though).

Wish there were also an option of plain instant buckwheat, without any additions.

Buckwheat is very good for baby.

But it has more sugar(4.5g)

I mix it with rice cereal.It has no added sugar.
