I rent a symphony from Medela, but my tubing got moldy after one month of use. I found this pump kit when I was looking for tubes. The tubing has identical adapters on both ends, and they fit well with breastshield and symphony's membrane caps. The kit works well with my symphony. The breastshields are in one-piece, but I found it easier to use than separate ones. The kit does not include membrane caps, but I do not need extra of these. It's great value to have everything it comes with, and they are of very good quality. Pumping is a constant routine of using these pieces and then cleaning them. Adding a second set made it much easier to pump at work when I don't have time to wash and sterilize the pumps and bottles each time.I had an older version of pump in style advanced. Surprisingly, this pump kit works on my pump in style. It was hard for me to get tubing for this older model as Medela has discontinued this model and so do its accessories. An added benifits for my purchase!
They work perfectly with my Lactina Select. The breastshields are one-piece and non-separable, but work better than separate ones. I still have Medela's shields. I use them interchangably, but I do not feel any differences. I tried to attach its valves onto my Medela breastshield, and surprisingly, they fit! The kit does not come with yellow piston or cylinder, but I do not need extra of these. This replacement kit works just fine for me.
P.S. Prior ordering this set, I called Medela customer service asking for a free replacement for tubing, but have been told they were not going to send it for free, unless I had a warranty case with a proof of purchase (which I have not had).False advertising. The parts are for pump in style, not for symphony. These do not look like genuine medela parts. Beware!
