Sugar Booger Classic Lunch Sack

I ordered this bag for my daughter about 6 weeks ago.

About 2 weeks after ordering it, we noticed a small spot of black mold in one corner of the bag, between the fabric and the coating.

That moldy spot has now grown to cover about half the bag.

We've only spot cleaned the bag since ordering it, so I can only assume the mold is the result of condensation from the cold packs we've used to keep her meals cool when we need to be out for several hours at a time.

So, 6 weeks later, the bag is ruined. Thankfully I got it on sale and I'm only out six bucks instead of sixteen.

I really wish the manufacturers had included "NOT FOR USE WITH ICE OR COLD PACKS" in the description, or the instructions for use.

I purchased this lunch bag for my daughter and I thought it was adorable, but after two weeks of use mold grew between the lining of the bag. I was washing the bag out daily with a paper towel and 7th generation cleaning spray. I contacted the company and they said I should only have used a dry cloth because the care instructions say "wipe clean". Their customer service was very poor and they basically said I ruined the bag because I used liquid to clean it. So if you want a bag that you can keep clean and sanitarty this isn't the one!

I purchased this for my 8 year old daughter to use for her daily lunch. We loved the design and it worked great. Then it became terribly stinky, so we had to throw it away. Very dissappointed!

I'm really confused by the negative reviews of this lunch bag. I purchased them for two of my children, and have used them daily for the past three months they both still look brand new. I have never had an issue with mold or durability of these lunch bags. I could not be more pleased with their durability and the designs are absolutely adorable. I love these lunch bags and would absolutely purchase them again and again.
