Pacific Natural Foods Organic Pumpkin Puree, 16 Ounce (Pack of 12)

The taste and quality of the pumpkin itself seem fine but this stuff is way runnier than normal pumpkin puree. I've been making pumpkin pies for years using all sorts of canned puree's and have never had a problem, now with this stuff my thanksgiving pies are like soup. Luckily I still have tomorrow morning to go buy a different brand and redo the pies. I guess there is just more water and less pumpkin than most products :(

If you have the misfortune of having this product, be sure to be very cautious of the amount of liquid you add.

Just one simple ingredient organic pumpkin. I love these because they are in a box not a can full of BPA. I can't find these in stores when it's not Thanksgiving time. I make pasta sauces, lattes and pies. When opened, the box seems to last for a few days in the fridge.
