This little gadget works GREAT! I wish I would use it more often because when I do use it I love it! If you can find the time to put aside to make stuff and freeze it so that you are ahead, it's probably the best way to go. My 9 month old current is liking diced foods but i still use it to steam. And sometimes will still puree stuff. Also, have steamed vegetables for the rest of us in it even.
