PROS:
1) Sleek and stylish
2) Fits the Tommee Tippee bottle (bottle has large body), therefore will fit almost every bottle in the market.
3) Heats up very quickly
4) Time on manual regarding heating times is quite accurate (take into account refrigerator temp. setting as shown in manual)
5) Heating bottle in warmer is consistent , versus using hot/boiling water which makes for a guessing game.
6) Warms milk evenly
CONS:
1) Pricey for something manufactured in China without an auto shut-off
IMPROVEMENTS FOR MANUFACTURER, ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE PRICE OF THIS WARMER:
1) Add auto shut-off
2) Add a white strip to the knob so that users can easily see which setting it is on
DEBUNKING ISSUES WRITTEN ABOUT BY OTHER REVIEWERS:
"There is no OFF."
Setting 0: "0" IS THE EQUIVALENT OF OFF. I contacted the manufacturer to make sure this is the case. I also conducted an experiment in which I placed 10ML of room temp water in the warmer and left it on "0" for 10 minutes. There was no change to the water temp.
"Settings 1 and 2 have no purpose."
After experimenting with the temperatures, let's get this straight for those reviewers who have written that settings 1 and 2 do not do anything, well, they do. Setting 1 keeps the bottle warm (after you have heated it and allowed for the water to get cooler from the boiling temp of Setting 3, of course) and Setting 2, perhaps can be used if you want to buy more time doing something (dressing baby after bath) and come to a perfectly heated bottle. Pls. note that the unit does seem to continue to warm and I am not certain as to whether or not the lower settings will ever get to a boiling point.
Using 10ML of Water
Setting 0: "0" IS THE EQUIVALENT OF OFF
Setting 1: 98.8F (however, 120F after 10 minutes)
Setting 2: 128F
Setting 3: 150F
Setting the dial in between numbers do make for variable temperatures
"Using this is the same as warming milk from hot or boiling water."
No, it is not. first off, there are more steps in heating milk from hot/boiling water versus using a bottle warmer. Not only that, but if you know how many minutes it takes to get to the right temp. for your baby, you can set your watch to it in the future and you will never have to guess whether or not you have under/overdone the heating.
"Difficult to judge where water is in warmer."
If the bottle floats stop adding water to it. If you are heating 5 oz. and the bottle does not float, add water to the milk line. Simple.
ASSESMENT:
Overall, I think this is a very good warmer and does not deserve the poor reviews. Quite frankly, from what I have read on the 1-star reviews as I was thinking of purchasing this, it sure seems like the reviewers are either not mindful or did not fully research what they were purchasing.
I will agree however, that for the price and being manufactured in China (I used to work for a baby products manufacturing company), it would be wise for Tommee Tippee to add an auto-shut off after 10 minutes or so, just to keep families safer and sway people from giving them a bad review only for this reason.
Simply put with facts and no emotions involved, set a timer when you use this. Unplug it to be safe after each use and it really is a nice, well-made warmer. There is only one con with this warmer, it does not have a timer. It will keep the water at a certain temperature but it will not automatically shut off.
With that being said, this thing will heat up bottles in less than 4 minutes. The reviews that state that they are unable to get the bottle warm are obviously using it wrong. And the lady that had her baby crawling up on the counter and burning themselves didn't place the warmer in a safe location, sorry to hear about your kid.
If you are a responsible adult who takes good care of your kids this is a great warmer. It is so fast. When the kid freaks out, you turn it on, place the bottle in the water, and in 4 minutes the milk has gone from fridge temps to nice and warm in minutes. Sure, if you leave it too long it will get hot, but why would that be a problem when it only takes 4 minutes?
Im a be believer that you can't teach stupid. This bottle warmer is stupid simple.

Don't waste your money on this! For $40, all you get is essentially the same thing boiling a pot of water can do. Yes, it does heat up faster, but there's no auto shut off or light indicating the bottle is warm and no timer. I had to buy a kitchen timer to use this thing and kept messing up and overheating the bottle (which is really frustrating to have to wait another few minutes for the bottle to cool while baby is screaming!).I went to a friends house who had the Munchkin bottle warmer and found that not only did the tommee tippee bottle fit in it but there were TONs of other features, like auto timing, auto shut off, and there is even a net you can use to steam food or to sanitize pacifiers. I wish I had gotten this one instead:(.

I got this bottle warmer at a thrift store, and while I am glad I didn't pay full price for it, it works just fine. Mine gets hot quickly, warms the bottle, does what it says it will. I gave it 3 stars because of the same reason a previous reviewer mentioned -you have to unplug it to turn it off, which can be a pain, especially in the middle of the night, since I have to reach behind our toaster oven to plug it in. As for kids pulling it off the counter and burning themselves, I am sorry that happened, but I just don't see that as being a major issue with this warmer as long as you make sure to keep it out of reach of other children. I have a 3 year old and I keep this pushed way back on the counter where she cannot get to it.Want Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Electric Bottle Warmer Discount?
Pros: Warms the bottle no problem but there's nothing special about it, it's just warm water. I guess the speed at which the water warms up is pretty good, still have to shake the bottle though to get the warmer milk on the outside spread around.Cons:
-There are three temperature settings but the instructions really only tell you to use the highest one. What's the point of the three then?
-There's no on/off switch, you have to unplug it to turn it off.
-There is NO AUTO SHUT OFF. This means that if you don't unplug it after you're done it'll evaporate the water and could burn out. This is our biggest compliant by far.
-Difficult to judge the water necessary to surround the bottle, if you have too little then it's tight to the tommy tippy bottles so we've learned to use the bottle caps to add water at the edge.
For the price, buy something else.
