I've been looking for the ideal infant spoon since my baby started solids. My first purchase were the Munchkin White Hot Safety Spoon but my baby wanted to grab the spoon and letting her play with the hard metallic handle in her mouth was... dangerous. It has so many reviews and this one, the Tomee Tipee had none, so I didn't pay much attention to it. Then we got the Munchkin Soft-Tip but the handle was too heavy and it would tip.Finally, we went to Target and we saw it: the Tommee Tippee. It is light, it is soft, is has temperature color change (but we never trust this in any spoon, better try the food yourself). It even has a raised part so the spoon "bowl" never rests on a flat surface.
Forget about spatula shaped spoons, about colorful ones, or long heavy handles. These are perfect for self-feeding too.
