We love these plates/bowls. Like the other review says, when you put them together they don't create a seal, but we still use them probably three times a day. They're just the perfect size for my 5 and 2 year old. I pack lunch to go in here quite a bit, but we're careful not to slosh them around.
Okay, I loved the idea that these were plant based dishes and not some toxic plastic. With them not being plastic you lose a bit of the strength as well as length of life of the product. These dishes say the top rack of the dishwasher is okay for a few washes, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS. The dishes will naturally fade over time if hand washed. I accidentally tossed one of the dishes in with her other toddler dishes and afterwards the dish was very faded and had a kinda cool tie dyed look. The dishes also stain very easily. Red Marinara sauce will permanently stain these dishes. The lids do not fit securely and the little indentation where the dish is supposed to fit into the lid is very hard to clean if any wet food gets in there. I use these dishes mainly for dry snacking at home, cereal, crackers, dried fruit. This gives her a variety and its easier clean-up for mom. I do not recommend these for dinner use because they stain so easily. My daughter also enjoys using them in her play kitchen now. I am overall happy with the dishes and they have lasted 2 years so far; I just don't use them for things that will cause mommy extra work! If you purchase these plan to purchase other dishes for wet and regular use.

The top and bottom are difficult to thread and then to unscrew. It is built so that the separate compartments do not contain different foods if turned during travel, even with the top on.

When these came, I was super excited only to be disappointed. Since these are divided plates, you would expect the lid to prevent food to move between dividers. There is a good amount of space between the lid and the dividers. Poor design. Other than that, cute and Better than plastic!
