Gerber 3rd Foods - Fruits, 6-Ounce (Pack of 12)

Gerber 3rd Foods Mixed Cereal with Apples & Bananas, 6-OunceMy twins love this for breakfast. They love the combination of the cinnamon and apples with the oatmeal. Great product!

My little guy loves bananas and strawberries! As we continue to transition to more and more table foods, I still like for him to have some of the jarred baby food (plus it's convenient in a pinch!). He loves the taste of this combination and he doesn't spit it out like other fruits he has had.

Our son is 1 year old and has been eating this for a few months now. He knows the jar and when he sees it he starts reaching for it and gets very excited. It is thicker than applesauce, so it makes a nice breakfast or dessert because it sticks to his ribs and he is very satisfied after eating it. We always have this on hand in our pantry!

This was quite yummy (I tried it) and also is nice and thick to help older babies learn to eat food with more texture. My son preferred this to apple sauce, which is about half as thick as this.

Charlie Banana 10 Reusable Double Sided Wipes, Blue Emb.

Charlie Banana 10 Reusable Double Sided Wipes, Blue Emb.I have tried several different cloth wipes (Imse Vimse, Babykicks, etc.) and these are by far the best. They are the softest wipes around! There is no chance of hurting and/or irritating my daughter's behind no matter how rough I am in cleaning up her mess. They are definitely worth the money!

These wipes are thick and good quality. Four stars if it were not so expensive. The cotton side shrinks a little, while the fleece side doesn't, so all of them get kind of crooked after the first wash. They are rather pricey. We purchased two packs of these for wiping baby's poopy bum. That was great when baby pooped in his diaper often, however, we don't currently use them often enough to really need two packs (especially at the high price point).

We realized very early on that the CB cloth is very thick, so it wasn't always easy to get into those tiny newborn baby cracks (and I have small fingers). When he pooped in his diaper often, we liked these as the thickness meant you didn't feel like you were touching the poop when wiping baby's bum. The fleece side is nice and soft, but doesn't stay 'new soft' after washing a bunch of times (typical of fleece). The cotton side is nice and sturdy and picks up grime well. Now, we use the CB wipes for his bum occasionally when we are at home, but at 8.5 months old, he doesn't really poop in his diaper that often. We also like to use a CB wipe each evening to wash his face before bed (maybe because we're not really using them for much else).

We never used a wipe warmer, but just kept a fresh bowl of water near the changing table to soak the wipe before wiping. It didn't make sense to me to keep warm wet towels... it seemed like it would be a bacteria breeding ground. To get them to soak up water, I bunch up the towel and squeeze like a sponge and let it expand in my hand, or I get the cotton side to soak up water first since cotton readily takes water in.

When he was a newborn, we used the Spasilk 10 Pack Soft Terry Washcloth, Yellow a lot because we could get into the tiny places to clean better until he got a little bigger that we could use the CB wipes. Now, we use the Spasilk for pretty much EVERYTHING... from wiping his bum, his face, his hands... we initially purchased one pack of these and now use three packs. The Spasilk is MUCH thinner and only one layer, so it's easy and lightweight to bring a bunch in the diaper bag when going out. Once it's dirty it doesn't take much room in the wetbag, whereas packing a bunch of thick CB cloths to go out was too cumbersome for me. This is why I like to keep the CB cloths at home.

I use these wipes to wipe my daughter's bottom. We currently use cloth diapers and picked these wipes because I liked the fleece side option.

The fleece is soft (even after several washes and I do not use fabric softener). It is gentle on her bottom and it gets all the poop off. I use the fleece side to clean up the poop and the cotton side as a once over at the end.

We also purchased the Organic Cotton Wipes from Amazon and use those if we are changing a diaper with just urine.

Others have complained that these wipes repel water. I do not remember having any issues with repelling water but I did wash the wipes before using them and I do not use fabric softener. Fabric softener will cause my cloth diapers to repel water and I wash these wipes with my cloth diapers.

These wipes are great. They wash up nicely & don't shrink. I like the dual sides... they can be used as wipes, wash clothes, burb clothes.... I would recommend to all.

I love the two sides, a softer plushy side for light duty, and a still soft fabric side for tougher heavy duty jobs, which is great. They're big and one gets the job done. I can't say the same for any other disposable wipe. I felt like the disposables were rough on baby's skin (try taking off trace eye makeup with them ouch!) these however are as soft as baby's bottom. I use homemade wipe solution with it. I can't wait to try them in the warmer. :)

Earth's Best Organic Sesame Street Crunchin' Crackers, 5.3 Ounce (Pack of 6)

Earth's Best Organic Sesame Street Crunchin' Crackers, Cheddar, 5.3-Ounce BoxesThere are a couple of poor reviews on this product that attack the amount of sodium in these crackers. Firstly, I don't know what the regular diet or pallet of these parents are, but according to my family, these are on the bland side, the last impression I got when I tasted these crackers was that they were overly salty. You want salty, go eat a Ritz. The nutrition information states that 30 crackers will provide 220mg of sodium. Well, unless you pile half a bag in front of your kid and plop them down in front of a TV and thereby introduce them into the life of the American couch potato, there should be nothing to complain about. (In addition, any competent medical authority will state that a child should average around 1 gram of sodium per day, that means 1000mg.)

These crackers are small and that needs to be taken into consideration, observe your child closely and ensure they are ready for them. Our daughter started these when she was 9 months and has done perfectly fine with them. She usually consumes 2-3 crackers per feeding (nothing near 30). They are 'plain' flavored, I would describe them as buttery in flavor.

Again, thanks to Earth's Best for a great organic, non-GMO product without the nonsense ingredients, Good Job and keep up the good work!

Amazingly good crackers. We were looking in the organic food aisle at Kroger a few months back for the little ones and found these crackers. They taste better than Cheez-Its and Cheese Nips, AND they're organic and healthier for you. I wish they sold these with less of a baby/toddler theme, though; they'd probably sell more if they did.

My children (and I) LOVE these cheese crackers. I love the ingredients: organic and non GMO, no MSG, etc. The flavor is great and they are fun to eat! We have been purchasing these for over a year and highly recommend them! (Just wish they were available for subscription purchase, hint, hint)

My 2 1/2 yr old loves these crackers as do most kids who come over. They have Elmo and Big Bird faces and a good cheesy taste without grease or messy hands. Not as easy to break as fish crackers and I think they taste better.

This is good stuff. baby loves it and asks more, more all the time, the problem is hard to limit it. I read reviews before and i wondered how tasty could it possibly be that everyone is raving..hell yea, how is a baby cracker so delicious?? isn't baby food supposed to be bland:p i always sneak in a few or more...ummm...good thing this the a 6 pack from amazon....

NUK 30 count Breast Wipes

NUK 30 count Breast WipesI like these better than other wipes I have purchased in the past. They also smell nice, because of the natural vanilla.

Its practical, specially if you are away from home. also useful to wipe out my breastpump parts for a quick clean when you have no running water at hand (like in the car!). Will like a bigger pack though.

I will recomend it.

I'm a first-time nursing mom and thought these would be great to have. However, before they arrived I began using the unscented natural baby wipes and I think they work just fine. I'm using these now that I have them but probably won't order again. I'm not convinced I need them.

Dr. Sears Snack Container, Red, 12 Months

Dr. Sears Snack Container, Red, 12 MonthsThis snack container works ok, but it's not that convenient. The lids are kind of a pain to line up with the container to close. It works fine, but I have a lot of other snack containers that are easier to deal with, and when I'm feeding snacks to a baby on the go, easier is better. I've only brought this container on one outing and probably won't use it again.

I LOVE all things Dr Sears, but this container is not all that I dreamed it would be. The lids come off way too easy and they are extremely hard to get on. Plus the three portions are barely connected and don't stay connected at all. So moving it in one piece is not possible.

Believe the other reviewes for this product. I didnt. It wont stay as one piece and is very hard too use . The tops are hard to put on and as one unit its just not going to happen. I actually only use the small pieces individually now. It needs a redesign . I wish it was better. Its ok though . At best.

Angry Birds Rectangle Plastic Storage Box

Angry Birds Rectangle Plastic Storage BoxIt is very cute and just the right size but for my 4 yr. old grandson, actually for me too, it was really hard to open. i purchased it for him for homelunch but if he can't open it then there is no use for that. Just kept it because too busy to return.

Haba Biofino Hamburger and French fries

Haba Biofino Hamburger and French friesMy 5 year and my 1 year both love this hamburger. The magnetic buns and patties make it easy for my 1 year to build his burger. The cheese and tomatos are made of felt. The only thing I don't like are the fries; they are tiny, attract dust easily, and they end up all over the house.

My daughter who is 3 loves this. She put it with her kitchen stuff. There are magnets that hold the hamburger together

The burger and fries are small and soft. There is a magnet that attaches the ingredients together. Not very realistic but educational and fun. The only thing realistic is the carton the fries came in.

My grandson likes this hamburger which seems just like the fast food ones. However, Grandma was not too thrilled with all the pieces of french fries which are all over the house.

Otherwise, it is fun for my grandson when he is playing in his kitchen.

THIS IS NOT A REAL FOOD. My son tried to eat these the other day because they are so realistic looking and he almost choked. Thank god he has a tiny mouth (it's rated in the 4 percentile for his age) and couldn't fit it into his mouth, but he tried to eat it!!!!

If you want realistic looking food to fool your friends with on April Fools, buy this, because they will totally try to eat it (I was tricked twice myself this past April Fools) but if you want your kids to be safe, do not buy this because they might choke and die.

Nuby 4 Pack Embossed Round Flat Plate, Colors May Vary

Nuby 4 Pack Embossed Round Flat Plate, Colors May VaryI have toddler plates divided into 3 sections (can't remember if they're nuby or munchkin), and though I like them, they just. don't. stack. I still like the divided plates for dinner, but for sandwiches, pancakes, etc....these are great, and they stack!!! Hold up great in the dishwasher (top rack only) and cute!

The whole line of Fun Drinking Cups, Bowls & Plates come in assortment of bright fun colors and are the perfect size whether your child is just learning to eat by themselves or is an old pro like my 3 year old. They are extremely durable, and I love that they are ok to use in the microwave and top rack of the dishwasher. They are the perfect size for my preschooler and the best is I don't have to worry about her breaking them when she's trying "to help" put her dishes in the sink.

Good size for toddler meals. I microwave these for 15 seconds or less and have never had an issue. They have gone through the dishwasher many times and still look new.

I've had these in the dividers style and the flats. I like both, but I prefer the flats because they stack better. I love that I can use them in the microwave and the dishwasher. I don't worry about my kids breaking dishes, so they're able to set the table and clear the table as part of their chores. I have these stored low for easy access to little ones. They don't stand up well to knives (my husband scratched up one of them pretty quickly), but they're plastic, so I wouldn't have expected them to. Nice size for kids and even for myself for lunchtime.

Fresh Starts Baby Food Food Mill

Fresh Starts Baby Food Food MillI've had three baby food mills over the years: this one is my newest acquisition, the KidCo classic food mill, and the Munchkin food mill. The Munchkin was crap, so I won't waste more words there. The KidCo had its issues, but none too annoying and it did the job well enough, which is not surprising as that's the brand of mill my mom used on us when we were babies. The Fit & Fresh mill is wonderful in many ways: sturdy, neat, efficient. That's about where the positives end, though. While they may seem like really important positives, let's consider the negatives.

First of all, you can't clean it properly, which is my #1 reason for rating it so low as that's kind of a health concern. There is no way to detach the metal grinding mechanism from the plastic casing, so food gets stuck in the cracks and is virtually impossible to extract. Fibrous foods like fish and meat are especially hard to clean out. This is a problem I never had on the KidCo mill as it was all detachable and all cracks and crevices could be cleaned thoroughly. I'd love for someone to come along and correct me here, but after scouring the interwebs for the answer, it seems there simply is none and this is a design flaw on the Fit & Fresh mill.

Secondly, this mill is designed to be used with specially-made containers that are sold separately. Well, my mill came with one container and lid, but if I want to grind something and that container is in use, I'm out of luck unless I purchase a set of four more catchment containers (and lids) for a price. One thing I really miss about the KidCo mill as that you can take it to the table, dump the food in, grind, and feed baby right off the top of the mill. No superfluous pieces, nothing fancy, just mill + food + spoon = happy baby. If I needed to save food for later, I scraped it off the top of the mill and put it in a container I already had in my cupboard.

Thirdly and lastly and somewhat related to the secondly the Fit & Fresh mill is a bit awkward to operate. It's big, and with that catchment container on the bottom, it slides around and if you're grinding something a bit tough, the whole bottom part rotates along with the crank, which totally defeats the purpose of the grinding action. I don't have a third hand to push down on the top of the mill, turn the crank, AND hold the bottom half in place, so I have to jam it between my body and the counter's edge. Or have my eight-year-old hold it. Or forget altogether and wonder why it's taking ages to make the dang food. Again, design flaw.

So yeah, it's a nice concept and pretty to look at, but there's a reason the classic design of KidCo's mill has stood the test of time it does the job and nothing more or less. Now, this is not necessarily an endorsement of KidCo's mill in reading around, if I had to do it all over again, I'd probably give the Kidalog mill a try. That one sounds awesome. But don't waste your money on the Fit & Fresh system. Go classic and you won't regret it.

This is hard to clean, and unless the food is already super soft it is really difficult to grind up. You can't remove the metal plate that grates the food, so bits get stuck around the edges. Every now and then I'll go in with a toothpick and get the bits out, but it's annoying.

I had one like this for my baby who now is expection her first child. I loved mine and think that she will love hers also.
