Kiddopotamus Tinydiner Placemat

I found this at Target and have completely fallen in love with this portable placemat. It is so easy to carry, fits beautifully into a smaller size diaper bag, it's washable and it has a built in food catcher! We've so many people stop us while we are eatting to ask where we got it from! It's a must have for any parent of a young toddler, and it's so much better and gives us parents a safe feeling to know your child's food is on clean surface! This will be a definate gift for any family and friends that have new babies. 1 thing I will caution you about is when you roll it up and store it, don't roll it up super tight, because the next time it will be harder for the suction cups to stick. This only happened once to me and then the next time I rolled it up much looser and it stuck down!

The Tiny Diner portable placemat is a rubber mat that includes a crumb/spill tray to bridge the gap between the table and your little one. It secures to the table with suction cups that work with many surfaces.

The mat is made of a high-quality material that should stand up to lots of use for years to come. It cleans up easily either in the sink at home (I also called the manufacturer and found out that it's dishwasher-safe in the top rack) or else with wipes on the go. It will protect your table at home from knicks and scratches from banging utensils and dropped cups. It minimizes the mess all around with a lip on its border that trips minor spills and a deep tray that hangs over the edge of the table, protecting your baby's lap. This last feature is a must-have during the independent phase of learning how to use forks and spoons.

Away from home, it's a great way to let your child eat according to his or her home routine. It also protects him or her from germs on the table. The only drawback is in the transportation. The mat is a little like a roadmap you'll never get it folded back as nicely as when it first arrived. As a result, it can take up a lot of space in a small daytime/afternoon diaper bag.

Judging from other reviews, it seems that this is yet another in the long list of love-it-or-hate-it items that are subject to your child's tastes. Based on our experience, the Tiny Diner is certainly worth a try for its low price if you can get your toddler used to using it, it will become invaluable.

This is my first review on any product (and as most first time parents, we own LOTS of baby gear) but I have been SO pleased with this product. My son is 11 months old and VERY busy. Eating out and away was quite difficult until we received this product as a gift. We can put his finger food down on a LARGE clean surface and it keeps him busy while we also get to eat! The mat stays put with the suction cups, is large enough to allow him to push his food around, is fun to look at, has a great "catch" for the food he pushes off the mat, is easy to clean, and rolls up neatly for transport. This has become one of the essentials of our diaper bag. This product is an absolute necessity!

I bought a pink one of these for my daughter about eight months ago. It's wonderful and I don't know what I would do without it. I use it so much, I decided to get a second one. When it arrived I thought it was defective and returned it for another. The third one is just as awful. Unlike the first beloved one, the new model doesn't lay flat, doesn't keep it's shape, can't be washed in the dishwasher, and doesn't stick to the table. I am so sad that they ruined a product that I liked so much.

I purchased this in Mar 2012, to relpace the 'same' mat I had originally purchased sometime in 2010. I used to love this product, and was just interested in replacing the original mat because of expected wear and tear. The mat I just received in was SMALLER, constructed of NOT AS DURABLE plastic, and the catch-trough was ALREADY WEAK, immediately spilling anything my child dropped into his lap.

I have reccommended this product to countless friends, but will STOP doing so, as it has become an inferior and basically useless product. I would have continued to include it in all baby-shower gifts I gave, but NOT anymore. I would return it, but with return shipping costs/my time, it is not worth it.

Itzy Ritzy Lunch Happened Bento Lunch Box

Had this lunch box for less than a week and had to order something else. The clasps were impossible to open (I had to pry them open with a knife) and the top lid warped so that it wouldn't close properly. I always washed it by hand so it wasn't a dishwasher issue! Just such a pity since it was the right size and very cute, but just not worth it!

Super cute and appropriately porportioned compartments for my 1st grader's appetite. Unfortunately, it broke only after a few weeks. Always handwashed and air dryed, transported in cushioned backpack by low key little lady. Nubs kept coming out and then the handle just broke off. Have returned it to Itzy Ritzy so we'll see if they stand behind their satisfaction guarantee. I really hope they improve the quality because the concept and portion size is outstanding!

What a cute and novel idea but obviously not tested. The lunch box is so cute and just the right size for my little ones. I bought three of these. Upon their arrival, the handle broke off of one and it took several weeks for the plastic nubs holding the top lid to break off of the remaining two. Now there are none. These were always washed by hand and air dried so dishwasher abuse is not to blame, merely shoddy construction and materials. What a shame!

I ordered this lunch box with some hesitation for my son due to the poor reviews. I love the companies snack bags, so I wanted to love this as well. Alas I was so extremely disappointed with the lunch box. I knew it was going to be small but I was hoping I could make it work. I didn't even get the chance to make it work because the top portion wouldn't open all the way. It appeared as though the seel was tucked into the seam of the lunch box rendering it useless. I returned this product that same day. However my frustration didn't end there. I reviewed this product on the companies website ( itzy ritzy) and they took my review down! I know they want to sell their items, however removing a review to keep your product at four and a half stars is wrong! I had a problem with this product and I wanted others to know! Extremely disipointed in the product as well as itzy ritzy!

This may seem a little small at first, but I found it to be the PERFECT size. The top compartment can fit a sandwich while the bottom can fit 2 small snacks and even a box of Juicy Juice. The ONLY thing that I don't like is that the top compartment is VERY difficult to open. Your child will probably need a little help from an adult to open it. After a while of use, it gets easier, but I wish they designed better latches.

Naturepedic Waterproof Flat Bassinet Oval Pad, 14x29

Overall I am satified with this product, but just as an FYI to buyers When I washed the mattress protector for the first time, it did shrink from 29 inches to 27 1/2 inches WITHOUT drying it. This worked well for me because it was slightly too long for my bassinet, but who knows how much it would have shrunk if I had dried it.

It is sturdy and has NO chemical smells. I question what makes it waterproof if it's just 100% cotton, but it does seem to repel water.

I was misled by the description. I thought I was buying an actual pad for our bassinet, and was surprised to get basically a flat sheet. However, after reading the other reviews, I may end up keeping it as it does sound like a good placemat over bassinet sheets for spit-up, leaks, etc. But buyer beware, you are NOT getting the thicker bassinet pad with this product!!

Our baby has been sleeping in his bassinet for two months now and it's great. It breathes wonderfully so he doesn't wake up sweating or anything, even when we swaddle him. It easily washed in the washing machine and dries pretty fast in the drier. I already bought two for the crib. I definitely recommend doing this instead of the plastic ones. Also, our baby is a big spitter so we'll put a cloth diaper under his head so that absorbs his spit and we don't have to change his sheets everyday.

I originally bought this along with a new bassinet mattress to go inside my 50-yr old, family heirloom bassinet. (The family heirloom mattress was worn out.) Unfortunately my son just hated sleeping in it, so I repurposed this pad by using it on the changing table as a waterproof liner. I LOVE it.

Before this pad, I was using liners that had a plasticky synthetic layer on the bottom, and soft organic terrycloth on the top. Unfortunately, those liners got more and more warped with each wash, until they were so curled up I could not use them anymore. But this liner is all cotton, and it is thick and sturdy yet very soft. Liquid doesn't leak through to the changing table cushion unless I leave it there for a very long time.

And best of all, it doesn't warp in the wash. It still lies beautifully flat. And the canvas-y material helps it cling to the changing table cushion, so it doesn't catch my son's attention and make him want to roll over and play with it mid-change.

I only wish it were a little cheaper so I could buy 3 or 4 more!

I love that these pads are made from organic cotton and made in the US. We bought 2 for our baby's bassinet and then bought two more to use as a lap pad and just to let our little one stay diaper free during the day on a pad. It's very soft, washes easily under running water, and very absorbent (2-week old baby can stay on it for a couple of hours easily and you know how often these little people pee. You just need to rotate sides under the baby's bottom :) The only downside to the product is that it doesn't absorb right away so sometimes the pee spills over it before getting absorbed. Otherwise great product.

Smart Mom Teething Bling Donut Shaped Pendant Necklace (Turquoise)

Our daughter likes to chew during school. This works very well for her. It looks great and doesn't pick up dust or lint like many of the other chew jewels do. Looks so nice my wife wears it too! (she now bites this instead of her nails)

Pictures make this product seem to be made of a different material but it is rubbery, flexible and bends with some pressure. It actually is a good texture for a baby to teeth on, so I'm not complaining, just stating that the picture makes it look like it is made out of a harder substance. It is very, very casual looking. I do like the rope part of the necklace, because I had originally chosen this over "ChewBead Necklaces" because I had read reviews that said your hair could get caught in those, but a simple string wouldn't do that. The problem is the clasp... it is CHEAP. Cheap doesn't begin to describe it. It doesn't take any strength at all for my 5 month old to pull on it and for the clasp to release, so it never actually stays connected around my neck. The part of this necklace that was so appealing to me was that it wouldn't be a toy that constantly was falling on the ground... well.. not really, because the clasp isn't strong enough to match my 5 month old.

If I had only paid a maximum of $5-8 for this product, I'd be more apt to give it 4 stars, but I cannot believe such a cheaply made product costs $18+!!!! I recommend anyone that likes the idea or concept to simply buy a rope necklace with a strong clasp and connect it to your baby's already favorite teether.

I am an active middle age man but not a health nut and want some taste with my breakfast cereal. I have tried All Bran, Fiber One and many other similar types and this one has just the right level of sweetness and flavor. Crunchy but not like hamster pellets, flakes and oats, corn, bran, etc. Very good.

I was leery of purchasing cereal on line, but took a chance because it has so much fiber and the calorie content was low in relation to the serving size. I tried this product several months ago and was surprised at how good it tasted. The fiber in this cereal certainly does the trick. I will sometimes mix it half and half with any number of other cereals. This delicious blend of grains is well worth the higher than mainstream cereal price. These burp cloths are ok. The size is pretty good, not too small, not too large.

After a few washes the seams are coming apart on some.

Brown is just a bad idea for a burp cloth. It looks really gross after a couple spit ups.

The pads are not huge, as some reviewers made them seem. Main complaint was how worn then looked after the first wash (not even used). Serious pilling of the material, which I thought was disappointing given the high price. They are two pieces of material sewn together, fyi. Will write more after I try them out.

My daughter has acid reflux... severe acid reflux. I go through about 20 burp cloths in 3 days. These so far are the best I have found. I have the pink, brown and green sets. Gerber Nature Select 3rd Foods, 6-Ounce (Pack of 12)

My son is 10 months old and adores Fruit Medley by Gerber. There are very small chunks mixed in so your baby can start to chew and get used to more solid foods. Fruit Medley is a mix of peaches, grapes, pineapple, banana, and orange. A great start for babies beginning to eat more solid foods!

It has rice flour in it as a thickener. The baby was not a fan of this one. I tried it and it is not very tasty. We are sticking to Sprout and Earth's Best when we use baby food.
